Katelyn and Devin ran their personal best to capture Region I 400 meter championship finishing 1st and 2nd qualifying for the state championship. May 2006 Katelyn and Devin broke their personal at the state championship finish fourth and fifth with the time of 56.03 and 56.7. Summer 2006, I converted Devin Bailey to 800 meter run after two month of training Devin turn in to one of the premier 800 meter runners in the national USATF championship with a time of 2.14. Summer 2008 I coached Wesley Chandler to State Championship in the Shot Put 25'.4" 10 under Spring 2009 I help Lead Sarah Gentry to a state championship placing 1st in the 200m and 400meters and finishing second in the 100 meter. Sarah Gentry Won the TAAP State championship in the 200 and 400 meters two years in a row. Sarah Gentry attends University of North Carolina Ashville In the last five years that I’ve coached Mercury Track Club, I have assisted seven athletes who have received Division I scholarships. I currently live in Coppell, Texas with my Wife Mariza Chandler with my daughters Andrea, Kennady and my son’s Wesley and Camden. |
